Charles Matuszak, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County, with locations in Atlantis, Boynton Beach, and Wellington, Florida. He has been helping people with their injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system for the past 40 years.
Dr. Matuszak received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
After spending two years in the United States Air Force at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas, he settled in the West Palm Beach Area and has maintained a private practice in orthopedic surgery since 1978. In addition to his office practice, he has been the team physician for several high school football teams and supervised orthopedic emergency calls at five area Hospitals, including 10 years on the trauma service at Delray Medical Center.
Over the past 40 years, Dr. Matuszak has experienced tremendous growth in the volume and expertise of the orthopedic services offered in Palm Beach County. Although Dr. Matuszak treats most injuries and conditions involving the musculoskeletal system conservatively, with routine surgical procedures, he remains on the cutting edge for alternative therapies. His association with the fellowship-trained specialists at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County has made his practice of orthopedics all the more rewarding and enjoyable.
