Dr. Charles Matuszak is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who has been helping people with their injuries and diseases of the muscular skeletal system for the past 40 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse, and completed his Residency in orthopedic surgery at George Washington University in Washington D.C.
After spending 2 years in the U.S. Air Force at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas, he settled in the West Palm Beach Area and has maintained a private practice in Orthopedic Surgery since 1978. In addition to his office practice he has been team physician for several high school football teams, took orthopedic emergency call at 5 area Hospitals including 10 years on the trauma service at Delray Medical Center.
Over the past 40 years Dr. Matuszak has experienced first-hand the tremendous growth in volume and expertise of the orthopedic services offered in Palm Beach County. Although most injuries and conditions involving the muscular skeletal system can be treated conservatively or with routine surgical procedures, that he has been doing for years, His association with the fellowship trained specialists at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County has made his practice of orthopedics all the more rewarding and enjoyable.
